It all started with a family night where we ordered a few small plates from Bamboo Grill. From that very first meal, we were hooked! Since then, I’ve trusted Bamboo Grill to cater 4–5 birthday parties, and every single time they’ve delivered. I’ve even driven the food all the way to Maryland because it’s just that good! The prices are very reasonable, especially in today’s economy, the portions are generous, the food is always fresh, and most importantly, it’s consistently delicious. My absolute favorites are the curry goat, stew chicken, and the jerk chicken with that amazing sauce. In addition to their pineapple ginger. Every bite is packed with flavor! A special shout-out to Stacy for always providing excellent service. Thank you for the consistency and for never disappointing. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful food, Bamboo Grill is definitely worth trying. You won’t regret it!

Outstanding experience from start to finish! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Every dish was packed with quality ingredients and great taste. The service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome the entire time. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for excellent food and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I don’t even want to give this place one star. Everyone that knows me, knows I love me some Jamaican food, but this place was an awful experience. I Ordered my food and this is what I received. ( check picture below) I should have checked my food before leaving and that’s where I went wrong because when I came back to get my money back because of how my Food look the front lady tried to tell me they didn’t serve the food looking like that. So why does my plate look like that? If I never touched the food. I literally just opened the bag, getting ready to eat and found this disgusting plate . I didn’t even know that jerk chicken came with right rice. When I ordered jerk chicken, rice and cabbage. I didn’t think I had to specify between brown rice or white rice because I never knew it even came with white rice. I always get it served with brown rice in every Jamaican store I eat. The lady said she would check the camera and I was happy for her to check the camera to see that this is how they serve the food but then she said never mind, then have the nerve to bring God into this and say if God was like us . This used to be my go-to restaurant for Jamaican takeout, but unfortunately, I’m done ordering from here. Mind you I’m Jamaican and can make it at home but sometimes I prefer not to cook. Yesterday, I ordered the lunch special through Uber Eats after being excited Bamboo was finally on it. I received only two very small dry pieces of chicken, one of which was a wing. Who serves a wing as part of a chicken platter? The portion was completely unacceptable, especially considering it came with a large serving of rice that I had to eat mostly by itself because there was barely any meat. To make matters worse, I ordered brown stew chicken but received jerk chicken instead. The jerk was extremely spicy, and it wasn’t what I paid for. I also paid $6 for a side of plantains, and the portion was tiny. On top of that, they were dry and disappointing. This was once my favorite Jamaican restaurant, and I’ve ordered from them many times without any issues. Sadly, the quality, portions, and accuracy of my order have declined so much that I won’t be ordering from here again. Tried this place out because we were craving some Jamaican food. Loved that they have lunch species until like 6 PM 🥰 The jerk chicken was tender, flavorful, and generously sauced. The mac and cheese was creamy and definitely one of the highlights. The portion sizes were excellent and easily enough for two meals, which we really appreciated. The rice was just a bit dry for our taste, cabbage was okay also, but everything else was worth the come back to NJ!
